At a minimum give us the serial number, or at least the 3 letter prefix that forms part of the serial, from the bottom of the metal grip frame, the model number from inside the yoke cut with the cylinder open and the caliber (e.g., .38 S&W Special CTG). They list the 1D numbers starting in 1976 but the model 64 started in 1970. Now , the picture of the ser# appears to have two numbers scrubbed out. If that is the case it would date to 1973-1974.
