Just shows how competitive Stanford is. some ppl don't have perfect scores or gpa or even EC and still get in. I have a 36 4.0 a pretty solid list of EC and awards and community commitment.

They try to make final decisions wherever possible, so the probability of getting in in the RD round will be significantly higher than other applicants. Still not a slam dunk, of course.
