A Fun/Different LBG Build - Slicing Rapid Fire. This is my take on a different type of LBG build, apart from the Nargacuga Pierce 2 spam and any Elemental Builds using the Rathalos or Almudron LBGs. This one focuses on 2 things: Slicing Ammo and therefore cutting tails/breaking parts. It also does a decent chunk of damage overall.

Apologies in advance since my voice is off since I haven't been feeling well the past few days.Using the Light Bowgun is very easy to adjust to because of it...Unfortunately LBG Rapid Fire Pierce 2 outclasses HBG Pierce in this game right now. But, if you want to do Pierce HBG, either the Narga HBG or Barioth HBG are strong options. Get Pierce Up, Weakness Exploit, Crit Boost, Attack Up for damage. You may want Ballistics (used to be Aim Booster) level 2 to expand your critical range for close range.

No. Honestly, the gun seems realy good. 50% affinity due to bloodlust, 3-1-1 slots and medium rampage for anti deco. Frees up a ton of slots and i build a set where i run every critical skill maxed, ammo up 2, ballistix 2, powder mantle 1, evade extender 2 + peak performance 3 /w kushala blessing aswell as attack boost 7 to further bolster its raw.I mean for endgame (like after you beat fatalis), it's: Head-Rimeguard Y. Body- Dragonhide B. Arms- Dragonclaws B. Hip- DragonBarb A. Legs- Dragonfeet B. Charm-Challenger charm V. This is if you are using the boltshot for pierce 2, Fatalis depths for pierce 2 Rapid fire (it hits hella hard), or aquashot for pierce 3. Same build.Basically, Rise's gimmick (Wirebug) covers HBG's weaknesses better than LBG. If youre running HBG pierce with namielle you should try the kjarr elemental HBGs. Not tried it myself but elemental boost plus namielle 2 piece might be tasty. If each pierce tick counts as a separate attack for the namielle bonus could be simple to keep it up. Didnt notice you also had safi armour. This build is crying out for elemental hbg.
