The whole idea is that if it is sitting in the water and for some reason water leaks into the hull, it will pump it out.Written by ppguide Boat Jet Ski. Jet ski acceleration problems are usually caused by one of the following issues: Low RPM Mode is Active/Learning Key Used. Clogged Jet Pump/Cavitation. Engine Overheating. Low Oil Pressure. Spark Plug Issues. Electrical Issues. Wrong Fuel.Except it's acting dead. When I put an alligator clip from the battery positive to the accessory fuse the LCD guage will light up and say reading key. As noted we don't have dess.. if I press start the ski fires up. If I remove the clip from the batteery to the accessory fuse the skit turns off.Access the engine compartment by removing your watercraft seat (or top if Sea-Doo SPARK model) or the engine access floor tiles on your Sea-Doo Switch. Disconnect and remove ignition coils. Using a standard 5/8-inch spark plug socket, remove the plug from engine.
