But, if they are ~30 minutes old from the time the first 2 spawned, as soon as they will be looted they will spawn new ones hence why you will often find 4 by traveling to all spawns. They are red loot crates, but there will only be at most 4 up at one time. Ragnarok actually has ~12 up at a single time, at least on unofficials. And therefore possibly not in the desert loot crates either, which I believe run on the deep sea loot table rather than the standard red sky drops.
