A fiber termination point across the street, but I am only offered 18 Meg bonded DSL. I have Comcast, but they seem to think 900 down/25 up is a good plan. My cloud backups are so slow. I'd take 300/300 in a heartbeat. So distance is NOT my issue. Any thoughts?
No, the option wasn't available to pay the cost out of pocket. They simply said AT&T was not interested in supplying Fiber to the premises in my neighborhood at the time due to the cost of bringing it into the neighborhood (estimated at $18,000), the lack of green space in the front of our homes, and the property being managed by an HOA instead ....
