Incoming mail server for comcast email

My email client (eM Client) reports that my credentials were rejected by Comcast's IMAP server even though the SMTP server accepts them. No matter what port I use (993, 125, etc) the result is the same. I have tested this with a total of 5 email clients (eM Client, MS Outlook, Thunderbird, MS Mail and Gmail).
