I usually play with the Master Volume on 6% to be able to hear people on Discord, and now even at 100% it's less loud than the before-EW 6%.

I read the same solution on two different sites, which was as simple as changing from full screen mode to borderless windowed or windowed. Right click The speaker icon on your task bar. > Sounds > Right click your Output device > Configure speakers. -Once here, try to set it to stereo, then confirm and test it. -If this doesn't work, try and set it to 5.1 or 7.1 and disable the "center speaker", then confirm and test it. -Alternatively you could try disabling other speakers.

The game detects audio device settings on startup and never again, so plugging in/unplugging headphones won't be detected properly. I've complained about it a few times on this board, and frankly I'm shocked a game of this budget wouldn't be smarter about it. That's poor programming.

The worst part is - in the trailer, they actually did have sound effects as they flew. And even when they were transitioning from ground --> flying, they had this really cool whinny sound with an explosion when their wings ERUPTED from them. ....yet, ingame, nothing. A mod that replaces the Gunbreaker's sound effects by the 5.0 ones. There are 2 versions of the mod, "Original" and "Mixed". "Original" replaces all of the sound effects by the 5.0 ones. Replaces even the ones that weren't changed, for good measure. This isn't a problem if you are using a sound card like Creative's Sound Blaster. When you plug in both speakers and headphones into a Sound Blaster, the card takes the output sound and just splits it between the two.
After the update I have been experiencing a bug in the game where the sound completely cuts out after about an hour of gameplay and a lot of zone changes. This is no different than my usual play style with no problems in the past. so I have an Acer Nitro 5 and since the launch of early access on my pc, my fps is struggling to go past 20 and I have this constant sound stuttering, I've updated my drivers they're up to date, I checked around with all my sound settings in and out of the game alongside the graphics even did a full repair install.These sound issues are really problematic. I had the severe stuttering issue with my sound. Switching from DX11 -> DX9 (as recommended in the SE thread) did solve the issue for me.
