Recommend not alt-tabbing in and out of the game, as it causes the game itself or Steam to close or crash. As long as you stay in the game, it seems very stable and runs reliably. I did notice that the in-game Steam overlay did not work (no errors, just wouldn't open when pressing Shift + Tab).

I had abilities 1-4 on the face buttons, then if I held down one of the back buttons it would do abilities 5-8, and then had 9-12 on the D-pad. But adjusting the settings there won't fix the resolution not appearing ingame, and isn't the solution for applying a widescreen resolution either.
