I agree. I once purchased an aftermarket quarter panel for a 1972 Newport 2dr and the fit was horrible. The lower body contour was wrong and body lines off. Get nos or original metal off another car and don't waste your time.. Wthr traffic

You'd need to cut the sleeve down to match the length of the B body part. I suspect you'd need to cut an equal amount off of each end to avoid trouble since the ends are threaded differently. one is LH thread, the other is RH.Here is a C body HP manifold on a low deck big block. It clears everything but not by much. There would need to be a little bit of grinding done to keep the steering column from rubbing against the manifold as it moves around.
